SAN MARCOS (August 14, 2024) – The number of students enrolled in courses at the Palomar College Education Center (Center) in Rancho Bernardo have steadily grown over the last four academic terms. This is partly due to the addition of three new areas of study that train the next generation of architects, interior designers and fashion merchandising and design professionals.  Students can complete these certificate and degree programs in entirety at the Center.  All of the programs provide students with a pathway to high demand careers in fields that provide students with competitive wages.

  • Associate of Science degree and Certificate of Achievement in Architecture
  • Associate of Science degree and Certificate of Achievement in Interior Design
  • Associate of Science degree and Certificate of Achievement in Fashion Merchandising and Design
  • Associate degree for Transfer in Mathematics

The majority of Palomar College students work at least part-time while they pursue their educational goals.  With flexibility in mind, many of the course offerings are scheduled both onsite and online.  To further assist students in achieving their goals, the Center offers courses that can be completed in 8 weeks.  The Center also offers an extensive number of general education courses required within the 250 degree and certificate programs offered at Palomar College.
