SAN MARCOS, CA ― In recognition of decades’ worth of talent and dedication, Palomar College will induct eight people into the Comets’ Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018 on Saturday, Jan. 26. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. at St. Mark Golf Club at Lake San Marcos.
The seventh induction class includes:
- PAUL CASTRO (Baseball and Football – 1961-63)
- JIMMY CLARK (Football – 1978-79)
- TOM CRAFT (Coach – 1983-1993, 1997-2001)
- GINALEE DAVIS (Softball – 2006-07)
- DAVID FUNDERBURK (Cross Country/Track & Field – 1965-67)
- STEVE KRAINOCK (Football – 1978-79)
- TYLER LORENZEN (Football – 2006)
- Dr. ALAN TANNER (Football, Wrestling – 1976-78)
Initiated in 2010 and celebrating its inaugural induction class in 2012, the Palomar College Athletic Hall of Fame will grow to 93 members with the addition of the class of 2018. Photo plaques of all inductees can be seen on display above the foyer of the Comets’ iconic Dome gymnasium.
