Miiyu!\r\n\r\nEmelia \"Emy\" Gregor is a Kumeyaay descendant from the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel and Haudenosaunee descendant from the Mohawk Nation of Kahnawake, Canada. Emy serves as the Student Support Program Coordinator for Palomar College\u2019s Native American Resource Center. She is dedicated to supporting Native students by creating spaces where they feel welcomed, seen, and connected\u2014whether through academic support, cultural programming, or access to resources.\r\n\r\nThrough the Native Student Support Program for Inclusion, Resilience, and Education (NSPIRE), Emy works to uplift American Indian\/Alaska Native students by coordinating student-centered services and community-based outreach. She has been actively involved in the program\u2019s development since its early stages\u2014collaborating with campus partners to shape the mission and vision, contributing to the creation of eligibility guidelines, supporting data and reporting efforts, and assisting in the revitalization of the Resource Center\u2019s presence and services on campus.\r\n\r\nHer professional background includes serving as the Native American Student Support and Success Program (NASSSP) Grant Assistant and previously working as the Education Coordinator for the Rincon Indian Education Center (RIEC), where she supported Native youth through tutoring, academic enrichment, and culturally rooted educational activities.\r\n\r\nEmy is passionate about educational equity and strives to build meaningful relationships with students and their communities.
