This eligibility criteria is listed below, and was developed by our Military Leadership Council which consists of active-duty Marines and Military curriculum experts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please review the eligibility criteria below and email us at <a href=\"mailto:milprogram@palomar.edu\">milprogram@palomar.edu<\/a> to get enrolled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Option #1<\/summary>\n<ul style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sergeants School &#8211; Resident or Seminar Program: July 2013 &#8211; present<\/strong><br>(Certificate or ACE ID: MC-2204-0103 or MarineNet Transcript code EPME5500AZ accepted for verification)<br><em>OR<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Career School <strong>&#8211; <strong>Resident or Seminar Program: June 2018 &#8211; present<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><br>(Certificate or ACE ID or MarineNet Transcript accepted for verification)<br><em>OR<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advanced School <strong>&#8211; Resident or Seminar Program<\/strong>: June 2021 &#8211; present<\/strong><br>(Certificate or ACE ID or MarineNet Transcript accepted for verification) <br><em>OR<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SNCO Leadership School &#8211; <strong><strong>Resident or Seminar Program<\/strong><\/strong>: 2025 &#8211; present<\/strong><br>(Certificate or ACE ID or MarineNet Transcript accepted for verification) <br><em>OR<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC)<\/strong><br>(Certificate or ACE ID&nbsp;accepted for verification) <br><em>OR<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First Sergeants Course, SEPME, E8 Seminar or Cornerstone Completion <\/strong><br>(Certificate accepted for verification)<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Option #2<\/summary>\n<ul style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MCU\/CDET\/SNCO Academy Director, Instructor\/Faculty Advisor, or Curriculum Developer at MCU\/SNCO Academy since 2013.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Option #3<\/summary>\n<p>If a student does not meet requirements #1 or #2, and they are SSgt or above, they may complete the Checklist Criterion detailed below and submit for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1- Unofficial Joint Service Transcript (JST) <\/strong>(0-30 point)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2- Reflection Essay-<\/strong> Complete an essay in response to the four prompts below. All four must be addressed in this essay. This will be evaluated and scored by our MIL Council Faculty (0-70 points).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIL 100&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a minimum of 250 words, identify how effective written and oral communication affects culture within the Marine Corps and detail how each can impact military operations in conjunction with foreign populations.&nbsp; Use specific examples from your experience as a leader of Marines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIL 101<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a minimum of 250 words, consider the tenets of Marine Corps Doctrinal Publication 1 &#8220;Warfighting&#8221; and explain why comprehension of this publication is essential to all Marines and provide specific examples of how you have applied it in your experience as a leader of Marines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIL 102<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a minimum of 250 words, describe how you engage in &#8220;Sustaining the Transformation&#8221; and detail&nbsp; what customs, traditions, orders, directives, and programs within the Marine Corps assist you in leading your Marines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIL 103&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a minimum of 250 words, explain how you utilize concepts illustrated within MCWP 6-11 &#8220;Leading Marines&#8221; to develop your Marines both personally and professionally.&nbsp; Provide details and specific examples of how you implement these fundamentals in your leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like assistance in writing this essay, please feel free to contact MSgt Seth Rhyne at <a href=\"mailto:srhyne@palomar.edu\">srhyne@palomar.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Are You Ready to Enroll in the MIL Program?<\/summary>\n<p>Email <a href=\"mailto:milprogram@palomar.edu\">milprogram@palomar.edu<\/a> to get started. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What if I am attending PME in person at Camp Pendleton or 29 Palms?<\/summary>\n<p>Please note: If you are attending PME at Camp Pendleton or 29 Palms, enrollment into the program will be offered during a Registration Brief during the first few weeks of your PME session.
