Upon completion of Sergeants School, you will begin your MIL Work Experience course. This course will allow you to log your on-the-job training hours to complete your certificates through Palomar College, the Department of Labor, and the State of California Apprenticeship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If you are planning on attending PME at an academy other than Camp Pendleton or 29 Palms:<\/strong> Complete Sergeants School first and then email us at <a href=\"mailto:milprogram@palomar.edu\">milprogram@palomar.edu<\/a>, and we will walk you through the enrollment process and award you the 12 credits for MIL 100\u2013103 through our Credit for Prior Learning process. The 12-units of credit earned through Sergeants School or Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), with the 6-units completed through MIL 199 <em>Work Experience<\/em>, you can earn an 18-unit <em>Certificate of Achievement in Military Leadership Apprenticeship<\/em> from Palomar College and will be eligible to continue on with your education to complete your <a href=\"https:\/\/palomar.programmapper.ws\/academics\/interest-clusters\/48dbb6a0-10fd-427a-b835-499661bd98b7\/programs\/a0ca5f3c-b2a3-d1b6-63c0-61af6a34216a\">Military Leadership Associates degree<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, you can earn the <em>General and Operations Manager Apprenticeship Certificate<\/em> through the state of California and the <em>Operations &amp; Leadership Specialist Certificate<\/em> through the Department of Labor by taking the MIL Work Experience class and completing up to 2,000 hours of on-the-job training. Having a degree does not affect your eligibility to participate in this program and earn the certificates.
