You can do it! You can succeed in transfer-level math. Math programs with enhanced support have demonstrated higher success rates than traditional math sequences across the State. These math courses require more short-term commitment from students. However, the benefits to students include success in math courses and faster completion of math requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help you succeed, we offer free virtual and on-site math tutoring, including evening and Saturday hours in our<\/span> <\/span>Math and Science Learning Center<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Tutors are standing by to help support your success in math!<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our enhanced math courses integrate labs with transfer-level math classes to provide students with just-in-time support for both math skills as well as as student success and study skills.  <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MATH 100E: Exploring Mathematics Enhanced<\/span><\/span><\/u>
Eligibility<\/strong>: Eligibility determined through the math<\/span> placement process.<\/span>
Total units lab and lecture<\/strong>: 3
Hours per week<\/strong>: 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Profile<\/strong>: For students on the Humanities or Undecided non-STEM* <\/span><\/span> pathway. <\/span>Check with a counselor to verify this is the course <\/span>you need.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MATH 101E: Practical Math: Quantitative Reasoning Enhanced<\/span><\/span><\/u>
Eligibility<\/strong>: Eligibility determined through the math<\/span> placement process.<\/span>
Total units lab and lecture<\/strong>: 3
Hours per week<\/strong>: 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Profile<\/strong>: For students on the Humanities or Undecided non-STEM* <\/span><\/span> pathway. Math 101 and Math 14 are also appropriate for students who need a <\/span><\/span> preparatory course before Statistics (Math 120, BUS 204 or Psych\/Soc 205). <\/span><\/span> Check with a counselor to verify this is the course <\/span>you need.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MATH 110E: College Algebra Enhanced<\/span><\/span><\/u>
Eligibility<\/strong>: Eligibility determined through the math<\/span> placement process.<\/span>
Total units lab and lecture<\/strong>:<\/strong> 4
Hours per week<\/strong>: 6<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Profile<\/strong>: For students on the STEM* pathway. Some colleges<\/span><\/span> require Math 110 for transfer. Check with a counselor to verify this is the course you need.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STATS C1000E: Introduction to Statistics Enhanced<\/span><\/span><\/u>
Eligibility<\/strong>: Eligibility determined through the math<\/span> placement process.<\/span>

MATH 140E: Calculus With Analytic Geometry, First Course Enhanced<\/span><\/span><\/u>
