The conference is facilitated by <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">national leaders in numeracy, quantitative literacy and quantitative rhetoric<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nnn-us.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Numeracy Network (NNN)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attendees will learn to incorporate quantitative reasoning (QR) and numeracy into their curriculum in order to develop critical thinking in students, provide students with foundational skills, and to help close equity gaps.\u00a0 Participants will interact with the concepts of QR in real-world scenarios and discuss incorporating QR into their classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the end of each day, you<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0will be MATCHed into\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cross-discipline groups\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and actively work with\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">colleagues to update or\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">create new lessons for\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your courses.
