Students are required to have a current<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/studentlifeandleadership\/student-activity-card\/\"> Palomar Student Activity Card<\/a> (Student ID) to check out materials from these institutions. Staff must show their official College ID (badges).<\/p>\n<p>Palomar College students and staff may borrow books from <a href=\"http:\/\/library.csusm.edu\/\">California State University San Marcos<\/a> (CSUSM) and <a href=\"http:\/\/library.miracosta.edu\/homepage\">Mira Costa College<\/a> (MCC)\u00a0Libraries, and students and staff from CSUSM and MCC may borrow books from Palomar College Library.<\/p>\n<p><i>Palomar students and staff:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To borrow materials from CSUSM you must <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csusm.edu\/guide\/documents\/csusm-campusmap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">go to the CSUSM Kellogg Library<\/a> in person and present a <strong>current <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">and<\/span> valid<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/studentlifeandleadership\/student-activity-card\/\">Palomar Student Activity Card<\/a> (Student\u00a0ID) or Staff College ID to register.<\/li>\n<li>To borrow materials from MCC, you must go to an MCC Library\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miracosta.edu\/officeofthepresident\/pio\/downloads\/map_oc.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oceanside<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miracosta.edu\/officeofthepresident\/pio\/downloads\/map_san.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Elijo<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miracosta.edu\/officeofthepresident\/pio\/downloads\/map_clc.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Community Learning Center<\/a>) in person and present a\u00a0<strong>current <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">and<\/span> valid<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/studentlifeandleadership\/student-activity-card\/\">Palomar Student Activity Card<\/a> (Student ID) or Staff College ID to register (note: the borrowing of art works is reserved for MCC staff and students currently registered in MCC credit classes).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>CSUSM and MCC Students:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To borrow materials at Palomar College, you must come to either the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/library\/\">Palomar College San Marcos Campus Library<\/a> or any of the Center Libraries to register. NOTE: you must bring and show <strong>a valid photo ID<\/strong> in order to register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Community Borrowers\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Non-students who are 18 years old or older may register with the Palomar Library as a \u201cCommunity Borrower\u201d.\u00a0 A valid government issued photo ID (such as a valid driver\u2019s license, California ID card, Resident Alien card, military ID card or passport) <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">and<\/span><\/strong> proof of current mailing address must be presented to borrow materials or use a library computer.<\/p>\n<p>A Community Borrower who has holds on their account due to non-returned items will have their borrowing privileges suspended. Before a Community\u00a0 Borrower is logged onto a computer, they must first confirm their identity by showing a valid government issued photo ID to a Library staff member.
