Allen. Thanks to a bequest from Mr. Allen, the Palomar College Library built its first &#8216;branch&#8217;, the Ernest J. Allen Library (EJA), which opened September 22, 1997. To further honor our benefactor the library maintains a collection of dairy memorabilia, including a few items from the Allen dairy. The Palomar College Foundation currently administers investments made with the remainder of Mr. Allen&#8217;s financial gift.
