On Display in September
Come see the incredible insect collection of Edward Kane, Ph.D. and Palomar graduate!
Insects and their relatives are found just about everywhere. Today, many legislators, environmentalists, organizations, naturalists and teachers are involved in a race to protect natural history, including the unique ecosystems of our world. Entomology is a very complex science requiring a strong background in biology, physiology, chemistry and mathematics.
Work with insects also requires tolerance for conditions and subjects that are unusual, and sometimes harmful. Because of the diversity, abundance and articulation of insects into every habitat and niche, the study of insects is a vitally important part of science.
Collected from all over the world, this unique display will be available during normal Library hours, through the month of September. Find it on the 2nd floor of the Library!
