In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the library is featuring artifacts of and publications about California Native American culture. Don’t miss this display of baskets, jewelry, photography and more. See Luiseno, Cupeno, Kumeyaay, and Cuhuilla baskets from the organization, The Basketry of San Diego Indigenous Peoples. Beautiful necklaces made from Dentalia (mollusk shells) are also on display as well as photographs. You can also see an example of just some of the various books and periodicals Palomar College Library has on the history and culture of Native Americans of California. Enjoy!
