Have you ever used Films On Demand? It is one of the library’s media databases that stores digital educational videos through a streaming video platform. Users have access to an array of videos in real time. Films On Demand is an excellent resource for both faculty and students to access high quality videos from a variety of disciplines. And now it is easier to use thanks to their newly updated Help Center. Visit the Help Center for Quick Start Guides and How-To Tips in order to get the most out this database.
Video sources are easy to cite, and many videos have interactive transcripts and text translation options, allowing those who consider English as a second language to translate text into 53 different languages.
Access Films On Demand from the Articles web page on Palomar College Library’s website. If accessing from off-campus, a Palomar College login is required. If you have any questions about this or other resources, please contact Tamara Weintraub, Databases and Serials Librarian.
