Early Journals Now Available in JSTOR

Palomar students and faculty can now access more articles that ever in our JSTOR databases. Nearly 500,000 articles from over 200 journals published prior to 1923 in the

United State, and prior to 1870 elsewhere, are now included. These publications are part of JSTOR‘s new Early Journal Content (EJC) collection, which is freely available to existing JSTOR customers as well as non-subscribers. Covering discourse and scholarship in the arts and humanities, economics, politics, mathematics, and the sciences, they provide a wealth of historical data and information in digitized versions of their original formats. Click here for more information. Wonder if a specific journal is included? Look it up first in our List of Periodicals.

You don’t have to do anything different or special to access this content – the articles have been
added to our existing JSTOR databases. Just click any JSTOR link on the Online Reseach Databases page, and begin searching (Palomar College e-services login required off-campus). Articles that match your search will be retrieved.  Contact TamaraWeintraub, Collection Management/Subscriptions Librarian, with questions or comments.
