ARTstor: Latin America studies and newly released photos by Thomas Seligman

Visit ARTstor for images pertaining to the vast field of Latin America studies.  From the Pre-Columbian era to the Spanish Conquest; from Cuba’s revolution to modern day Brazil; ARTstor is an excellent resource for those studying the history and culture of Latin America.  You can browse by geographic region, by museum collections, or by keywords such as Maya, Haiti, Day of the Dead, or even individuals such as Pablo Neruda.

Also of interest is the collection of 3,600 photographs by Thomas Seligman, depicting images of Liberia, New Guinea, Melanesia, and the Tuareg people, nomads of the Sahara.  For more information on the collection, click here.
