New Journals & Magazines at the Library

The following periodicals are now available at Palomar College:

Public Libraries, School Libraries, and School Library Monthly (SLM) are essential publications for professionals and students preparing for a careers in school or public libraries. Current issues are at the San Marcos campus library; SLM is also available online in the Professional Development Collection database (accessible from the Library’s database web page)

Journal of Transcultural Nursing is a peer-reviewed publication that provides practitioners and students with information that addresses health care delivery and needs of different populations. The print edition is found at the San Marcos campus library; online is available through the Library catalog.

Surfer’s Journal includes in-depth stories and essays on the culture, history, and personalities of surfing. Printed on high-quality paper, this publication contains breath-taking images and graphics. Current issues can be found in the Current Periodical reading area on the 2nd floor of the San Marcos campus library.

Child Development is the journal of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), and includes articles, essays, reviews, and tutorials on various topics in the field of child development since 1930. The print edition is found at the Escondido Center Library; online is available through the Library catalog.
