As discussed in this blog on December 16, 2010, our ProQuest databases have received a new look and new web addresses, and features and functionality have been added or improved.
Shortly, links to these resources on the Library’s website will take you to the new interface. You don’t have to do anything – just select the database you want to search on the website or from the list below. As always, a Palomar College e-services or network login is required to access them off-campus.
ProQuest Newspapers
Ethnic NewsWatch
GenderWatch
Historical New York Times
Historical Los Angeles Times
Please note that database, citation, and article-level links saved from the old interface are also changing, but will continue to work for awhile so you can still use any that appear on syllabi, Blackboard sites, or course websites. However, we encourage you to update the old links to the new URLs as soon as possible.
For more information, answers to questions, or help using the new interface, please contact Tamara Weintraub, Collection Management/Subscriptions Librarian.
