This album was consistent with his previous albums in that while it had times of comic notes (\u2018Don\u2019t Eat the Yellow Snow\u2019) it also had times of ecological and ecclesiastical comment (\u2018St Alfonzo\u2019s Pancake Breakfast\u2019).<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zXP_pr7np-o?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Rolling Stone<\/em>\u00a0describes him this way:\u00a0\u201cFrank Zappa was one of the first musicians to try and tear down the barriers between rock, jazz and classical music. In the late 60\u2019s his band \u2018The Mothers of Invention\u2019 would slip from a Stravinsky number into a Jazz tune seamlessly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In 1994 he was inducted into the Downbeat Hall of Fame and in 1995 he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n<p>He was very zealous on the issue of censorship.
