The Journalism Department produced its first edition of IMPACT Magazine in Fall 2011. The 60-page, full-color magazine covering Palomar culture was met with great reviews. A print version comes out every Spring and is on stands through the Fall semester. The magazine content is available under the Impact tab <\/a>on the campus newspaper website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016, the magazine class was absorbed into the newspaper class allowing students to write for different types of media, from long-form magazine stories to teasers on social media. Students interested in writing or designing for the magazine should contact Professor Erin Hiro at ehiro@palomar.edu.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
