The Interior Design Program strives to assist students with transforming their passion into a career. The AS program begins with the foundational elements and principles of design, and continues into residential and commercial design processes. This program focuses on skill development; such as hand drafting and quick sketching, and technology; such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up and Adobe programs. Additionally, this program is affiliated with the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Students will graduate with a portfolio, ready to enter the workforce or transfer to a Bachelor’s degree program. This map includes the general education requirements needed to obtain this AA\/AS degree. However, if you are interested in pursuing a program for transfer to a California Public University, a different general education pathway is required (CSU GE\/IGETC) and it is critical that you make an appointment with a counselor.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
