If the program is CTE, please include the Dean of CTEE in this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>There are pre-scheduled meetings available (To be determined)<\/p>\n<p>The faculty originator will provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The rationale for the program<\/li>\n<li>LMI data for CTE<\/li>\n<li>Regional\/community need<\/li>\n<li>Any faculty needs to run the program- FT\/PT faculty needed, FT\/ PT Faculty exist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Step 2<\/b> If the team (above) comes to a consensus, the faculty program originator completes <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSf_fSPldAssUDOAD8S5OS0jYL8Y-24mwS_w44w21MdvVDmoKw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">IPC new program form<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3<\/b>&#8211;\u00a0 The IPC New Programs subcommittee reviews proposal and follows up with faculty originator and Dean as needed during review.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 4<\/b> &#8211; The IPC subcommittee presents recommendations to IPC (denials go back to dean).<\/p>\n<p>If program proposal (above) is approved:<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 5<\/b> &#8211;\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">For CTE Programs only,<\/span> please visit the following link for the Regional Program Recommendations Process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/myworkforceconnection.org\/workforce-development\/regional-program-recommendations\/\">http:\/\/myworkforceconnection.org\/workforce-development\/regional-program-recommendations\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Step 6<\/b> &#8211; Faculty originator enters new program into META.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 7<\/b> &#8211; Curriculum Approval Process begins<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Program Process\u00a0 Step 1 &#8211; The faculty member from the program contacts the appropriate division dean.\u00a0 The Dean will invite the articulation officer, dept. chair, and the faculty originator to a meeting to discuss the new program proposal.\u00a0 If the program is noncredit, please include the Director of Noncredit.
