QPR Suicide Prevention & Intervention Training
November 15, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm PST

Palomar College Student Health Center and Psychology Club are hosting a free QPR: Question, Persuade, and Refer Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention
QPR is designed to give members of the general public the basic skills necessary to recognize the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. As CPR is for the heart, QPR is for the mind. As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper, you will learn to: Recognize warning signs of suicide, know how to offer hope, and know how to get help and save a life.
Open to students and staff. PD Credit is available for attending this training.
