Music Wellness Event

May is Mental Health Matters Month
Palomar College Student Health Center and Active Minds Club have invited MusicWorx on campus to provide Music-Centered Wellness for Stress Reduction and Relaxation. Stop by the Student Union Quad grass area to join our Music Wellness Event on May 4th from 11am to 1pm and participate in:
- singing and drumming for stress relief and wellness
- music and meditation
- creative arts and music for mindfulness
- deep breathing practices
A board-certified music therapist will utilize music to help you reduce anxiety, foster self-expression, encourage healthy communication and healthy lifestyle!
Music and mindfulness have been shown to be productive tools in decreasing stress and anxiety, preventing burnout, increasing wellbeing, improving immune system functioning and increasing quality of life.
