Goal One:<\/span> Increase academic performance and preparation for postsecondary education.<\/h3>\n

Objective 1.1<\/span>:<\/span> Increase student enrollment in rigorous courses that reflect challenging academic standards.<\/p>\n

Indicators:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Enrollment in Pre-Algebra by the end of 8th grade.<\/li>\n
  2. Enrollment in Algebra 1 by the end of 9th grade.<\/li>\n
  3. Two years beyond Algebra 1 by the end of 12th grade.<\/li>\n
  4. An AP\/IB course by the end of 12th grade.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Objective 1.2<\/span>:<\/span> Increase student knowledge and demonstration of necessary academic preparation for college.<\/p>\n

    Indicators:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. On track for graduation.<\/li>\n
    2. PSAT participation by the end\u00a0of 10th grade.<\/li>\n
    3. SAT participation by the end of 11th grade.<\/li>\n
    4. 3.0 un-weighted GPS or higher by the 11th grade.<\/li>\n
    5. Math test proficiency.<\/li>\n
    6. English test proficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Goal Two:<\/span> Increase High School graduation and participation in postsecondary education.<\/h3>\n

      Objective 2.1<\/span>:<\/span> Increase High School graduation rates.<\/p>\n

      Indicators:<\/p>\n

      1. Average daily attendance.<\/li>\n
      2. On-time promotion.<\/li>\n
      3. Four-year cohort High School graduation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Objective 2.2<\/span>:<\/span> Student enrollment and success in postsecondary education.<\/p>\n

        Indicators:<\/p>\n

        1. College enrollment rates.<\/li>\n
        2. Placement into college-level math and English courses.<\/li>\n
        3. On track to graduate college.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Goal Three:<\/span> Increase GEAR UP students’ and their families’ knowledge of post-secondary education options, preparation, and financing.<\/h3>\n

          Objective 3.1<\/span>:<\/span> Increase educational expectations.<\/p>\n

          1. Parent participation in activities for academically preparing students for college.<\/li>\n
          2. Students expectations of graduating High School.<\/li>\n
