This is an expanded opportunity\u00a0for\u00a0instructional faculty to address the completion and retention rates of disproportionately impacted students in their classes by interpreting data and using culturally responsive practices to enhance their classroom pedagogy and materials.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50 has-custom-font-size has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/umJ7rKJpiS\"><strong>Submit Interest Form<\/strong> <strong>Here<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Participating faculty will receive a<strong>\u00a0<u>$578.58 stipend\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><em><u>(6 hours at the C20 non-instructional faculty rate)<\/u><\/em>\u00a0upon successful completion of the FCCTI Canvas course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Workshop Dates<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The third FCCTI cohort will be held as an <strong>asynchronous, self-paced Canvas course<\/strong>.\u00a0The third cohort will be comprised of instructional Faculty Members with diverse knowledge, backgrounds, and experiences to participate in the asynchronous training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><br><strong>Deadline to complete asynchronous online training:<\/strong>\u00a0June 1st at 11:59pm<br><em>Selections of the FCCTI Faculty Cohort Participants will be determined on a rolling basis.<\/em><br><br>For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the FCCTI Project Lead, Nina Shmorhun (<a href=\"mailto:nshmorhun@palomar.edu\">nshmorhun@palomar.edu<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Background We invite all Palomar College instructional faculty to participate in the third Faculty Cultural Curriculum Teaching Institute\u00a0(FCCTI)\u00a0held as an\u00a0asynchronous, self-paced Canvas course.
