Select your discipline up for renewal from the drop-down list.<br><br>Step 2: Discipline Minimum Qualifications:<br>Locate and review the minimum qualifications of your discipline in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facultysenate\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/173\/2022\/10\/Minimum_Qualifications_17th_Edition.pdf\">state Minimum Qualification Handbook<\/a>.<br><br>Step 3: Discipline FSA:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facultysenate\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/173\/2021\/08\/All-Discipline-FSAs-as-of-03_21_22-Board-Approved.pdf\">Locate and review your discipline FSA on file<\/a>. Consider whether your discipline FSA needs any changes, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add or remove teaching or educational requirements beyond the state requirements (state requirements cannot be modified or deleted)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review \u201cAND\u201d and \u201cOR\u201d words in your FSA which can change the requirements for candidates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss with colleagues in your discipline to get additional feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If no changes are needed, please indicate that on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=63ih38oQwECWZ_RzLzOB_jqLL_xr8shIqiXrxdH2T3BUMDBCWVQ5SlJVMkhBVEgwSU9ESVFIQzkyTy4u\">Discipline FSA Review Survey<\/a> and submit it. You\u2019re all finished.<br><br>If changes are needed, indicate that on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=63ih38oQwECWZ_RzLzOB_jqLL_xr8shIqiXrxdH2T3BUMDBCWVQ5SlJVMkhBVEgwSU9ESVFIQzkyTy4u\">Discipline FSA Review Survey<\/a>. Then complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facultysenate\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/173\/2023\/09\/Discipline-FSA-Update-Form-9.19.23.pdf\">FSA Update Form<\/a> and email it to Jason Jarvinen, FSA Committee Chair, at <a href=\"mailto:jjarvinen@palomar.edu\">jjarvinen@palomar.edu<\/a>. The FSA Committee will review your proposed updates at an upcoming meeting.
