These requests may arise from new access needs, lost keys, change of personnel, or other conditions. Requests for rekeying should be submitted on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/129\/2015\/10\/FacilitiesWorkRequestForm.pdf\">Facilities Work Request Form<\/a>\u00a0along with a budget account number and a written justification. All requests are reviewed to determine the appropriate action to be taken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Requests for rekeying are not considered routine maintenance, and departments requesting rekeying are billed for the work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\" style=\"text-align: justify\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/129\/2015\/10\/CardAccessKeyRequestForm.pdf\">Key\/Card Access Request Form<\/a>\u00a0for each employee must accompany the Facilities Work Request Form.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\" style=\"text-align: justify\">The cost is $85 per each door lock.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style4\" style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p class=\"style4\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/key-and-card-access\/\">Return to Access Controls main page<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When circumstances warrant, departments may request rekeying of locks.
