{"id":584,"date":"2015-10-28T15:18:59","date_gmt":"2015-10-28T15:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/?page_id=584"},"modified":"2025-03-18T11:32:03","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T18:32:03","slug":"signage-campus-window-signage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/signage-campus-window-signage\/","title":{"rendered":"Signage &#8211; Campus Window Signage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Facilities Review Committee approved prototype window signage at their May 5, 2011 meeting.\u00a0 Examples of the signage are posted at the\u00a0Business &amp; Contract Services Office, Room A-4A.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/facilities\/images\/PrototypeSigns.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"220\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In May 2011,\u00a0a pilot project using new technology for exterior window signage was approved, resulting in overwhelming support and requests from departments for similar signage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Guidelines for campus-wide use of the new signage were developed as follows:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Only Palomar campus imagery, buildings and landscape<\/li>\n<li>Prominent building\/room info if necessary.\u00a0 Consistent in size\/color\/style<\/li>\n<li>Informational options, limit amount to 30 words or less<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It was felt the new signage was more professional in appearance, and was very cost-effective. \u00a0Employees inside their offices will be able to see outside, while others outside will see the colorful designs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For ordering information, please contact \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/printservices\/\">Print Services<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Facilities Review Committee approved prototype window signage at their May 5, 2011 meeting.\u00a0 Examples of the signage are posted at the\u00a0Business &amp; Contract Services Office, Room A-4A.
