Process your request through the Facilitron<\/a> available through the\u00a0Events Scheduler<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

My classroom is missing tables and\/or chairs?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Classrooms are set up for the classes scheduled for each room.\u00a0 When tables and chairs are removed, then there are not enough seats for the students.\u00a0 Should you require additional tables and chairs, please contact the Facilities Office at extension 2629, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or via e-mail to Facilities Remedy<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to provide services that are tailored to your needs and requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

How enough are offices vacuumed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Campus Offices are vacuumed on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Who do I call if I discover rodents or pests in my work area?<\/strong><\/p>\n

How do I get the furniture in my office moved?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Submit a Facilities Remedy<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to the Facilities Office via email.<\/p>\n

How often should my office be swept?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Traffic areas are swept weekly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Does Custodial Services clean refrigerators ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, that is the responsibility of the department that owns the equipment.<\/p>\n

Who do I call for a spill on a carpet, linoleum or tile floor?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please contact the Facilities Office immediately at extension 2629, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\u00a0 After these hours and on weekends as well as holidays, please contact Campus Police at extension 2289 or 760\/891-7273.<\/p>\n

Can I borrow custodial equipment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No.<\/p>\n

Would you leave paper towels in any rooms other than where there is a dispenser?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No.<\/p>\n

How do I arrange to have someone shampoo my carpet or wax my floors?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Submit a Facilities Remedy<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>(this is a chargeable expensive) via email.<\/p>\n

Who is responsible for dumpsters?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Facilities Department has a contract with EDCO for all trash and dumpster pick-ups on campus.\u00a0 Trash is picked up on a regular schedule with additional pick-ups scheduled on an as needed basis.<\/p>\n

Who do I call for custodial service?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Custodial Services has a limited number of canopies. \u00a0Please submit your reservation in Facilitron<\/a> and include the request for canopy in the set-up instruction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Can I leave items in the hallways to be picked up and disposed of?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leaving items in corridors is in violation of Building & Fire codes. Custodians do not dispose of items other than the trash.<\/p>\n

How often are restrooms sanitized?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daily.<\/p>\n

Who do I call to report broken restroom equipment?<\/strong><\/p>\n
