What is Federal Work Study?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Federal Work-Study Program is a Federal Financial Aid Program offered at Palomar College.\u00a0 Students must apply and be eligible before starting employment.\u00a0 The award is earned through part-time employment on campus.\u00a0 The federal government funds 100%<\/p>\n

How do students apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program is need-based.\u00a0 Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and complete your financial aid file each year.\u00a0 There is no guarantee that a student will continue to receive work-study awards from one year to the next.\u00a0\u00a0 Students should complete the application process early to be considered.\u00a0 FWS funds are limited. Contact studentjobs@palomar.edu<\/a> if you are interested and have not received an award for FWS. Students may hold only ONE<\/span> Federal Work Study job at a time.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
