What is Federal Work Study?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federal Work-Study Program is a Federal Financial Aid Program offered at Palomar College.  Students must apply and be eligible before starting employment.  The award is earned through part-time employment on campus.  The federal government funds 100%<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do students apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program is need-based.  Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and complete your financial aid file each year.  There is no guarantee that a student will continue to receive work-study awards from one year to the next.   Students should complete the application process early to be considered.  FWS funds are limited. Contact studentjobs@palomar.edu<\/a> if you are interested and have not received an award for FWS. Students may hold only ONE<\/span> Federal Work Study job at a time.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span><\/a>The Job Openings listed here are intended only for students who the Financial Aid Office has notified that they are eligible for FWS.  If you want to be considered for the program, please email work study at the address below or fill out a message transmittal at the financial aid office asking to be placed on the wait list.  Wait list requests will be accepted beginning every July .
