Welcome to Palomar College  <\/b><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

“You Start Here and Can Go Anywhere!”<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the steps below to begin your educational journey! <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you can register for classes you will need to complete the Palomar College Application.<\/b>  <\/span>You must have a personal email account in order to submit an application.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Apply:\u00a0 Students need to complete the CCCApply and the Palomar Application (CCC stands for California Community Colleges).\u00a0 <\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span> A. You will have to create a Username and Password for the CCCApply, please make sure to write them down since you might need them later on.\u00a0 For more information or to get started<\/span> www.palomar.edu\/apply.<\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span><\/a> B. Once both applications have been completed you will receive two emails at the email address you used in your application.\u00a0 Your Palomar Student ID number will be sent in that email. <\/span>

  2. Choosing an ESL level:\u00a0 Choose the ESL level and class that is best for you and call our ESL office Staff to let them know the level you have selected or to ask questions.\u00a0 If you prefer, you can email the ESL\u00a0 office staff from your Palomar College e-mail to request a level eligibility. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>For help deciding on an ESL level.<\/span>

  3. Create Password:\u00a0 Once you receive your Palomar Student ID number you can now create a password at<\/span> MyPalomar<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 You can also access and activate your Palomar email here.\u00a0 <\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Register and Pay:\u00a0 Using your Palomar ID number you can now register and also pay for your ESL Class at <\/span>MyPalomar<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> \u00a0 (Non-credit ESL classes also pay the health fee) <\/span>

    Note:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you are a <\/span>continuing student<\/span> (i.e. have not had two semesters or more off) you DO NOT need to submit a new application. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    —If you are continuing student and have been taking non-credit classes you MIGHT have to complete the application process if you need to use Canvas or your Palomar email address.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you are a <\/span>returning student<\/span> (i.e. have been gone more than two semesters) you will need to follow the steps above using your Palomar College ID  number to submit a new application.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     <\/b><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    For Credit Students:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Credit:  students who would like to receive units from a course for a degree or diploma can take an ESL course with credits.  An ESL credit course it is typically between 3-6 units.  For more details about credit classes fee click here.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Students must apply online, which you can do on your own, or you can call one of our ESL Offices to receive assistance from our ESL staff with the online application.  After you have applied online, you can select the ESL class and level that you would like to take.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For Non-Credit Students:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Non-Credit:  students will not be receiving units for a degree or diploma, but will be gaining general English knowledge.  Students are required to pay the Health fee for these non-credit classes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After you have applied online, you can call one of our ESL Offices and have our ESL Program Assistants help you enroll in the class that is right for you and level that you would like to take.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
