This training is required for all community college students in California under AB 2683 and AB 2608. Please contact Palomar\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.palomar.edu%2Ftitleix%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cjfinn%40palomar.edu%7Cf8991f2e19d84ec39fb608dcdda2a65e%7Cdfa178eb10ca40c09667f4732f3381fe%7C0%7C0%7C638628937899086486%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=ydLzViNYyYxAyZ63qSFp%2BzmFYphsadpZSrk%2BspWbNIQ%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Title IX Coordinator<\/a> if you have questions about the content of this required annual training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>For Students Under 16:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Obtain Faculty Permission:<\/strong> Get approval from each <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ydNfPJDMZNo\"><strong data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1771\">Palomar College instructor<\/strong><\/a> for the class you wish to take on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/enrollmentservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2025\/10\/Under-16-Add-Drop-Form-10232025.pdf\">Under 16 Add\/Drop Form.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Instructor Approval and Enrollment:<\/strong> Palomar instructors have full discretion to approve or deny students under 16. To be officially enrolled, submit the completed Under 16 Add\/Drop Form to the Enrollment Services Office.<\/li>\n<li><strong>World Languages Courses:<\/strong> Students under 16 interested in World Languages courses should review the <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"#\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2260\">World Languages Policy for Enrollment of High School and Other Young Students<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>For Graduates Under 18 or Proficiency Certificate Holders:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Signatures Required:<\/strong> Only the student and a parent or guardian need to sign the K12 Special Admission Approval Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>For Homeschooled Students:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Signatures Required:<\/strong> A local high school district official or parent\/guardian must sign K12 School Official Certification portion.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Additional Requirement:<\/strong> Submit a Private School Affidavit.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Unit Limits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fall\/Spring Terms:<\/strong> Up to 7 units<\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer Session:<\/strong> Up to 5 units<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exceed Limits:<\/strong> If you need more units, fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/enrollmentservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2023\/05\/K12UnitPetition-2020_2.pdf\">K12 Special Admission Unit Petition<\/a> along with unofficial high school and college transcripts showing academic success. The high school district counselor must sign the petition for full-time enrollment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/fiscalservices\/tuition-and-fee-information\/\">Fees<\/a>:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Part-Time (11 units or under):<\/strong> Enrollment fee is waived.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full-Time (11.5 or more units):<\/strong> Enrollment fee applies to all units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Non-Resident Students:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For High School Credit:<\/strong> In-state enrollment fee is waived.
