California College Promise Grant (Formerly known as the BOG) Fee Waiver Changes <\/span>– Effective Fall 2016<\/h2>\n

Once you\u2019ve qualified for the\u00a0CCPG Fee Waiver, it is important to ensure that you are meeting the academic and progress standards in order to avoid losing the\u00a0CCPG fee waiver<\/p>\n

\n
Academic \u2013 Maintain\u00a0a GPA of 2.0 or higher<\/strong><\/dt>\n
If your cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 for two (2) consecutive primary terms (fall and spring semesters are primary terms at Palomar) you will lose your\u00a0CCPG fee waiver eligibility.<\/dd>\n
Progress \u2013 Complete more than\u00a050% of your coursework<\/strong><\/dt>\n
If the cumulative number of courses you successfully complete is not more than\u00a050% in two (2) consecutive primary terms (fall and spring semesters are primary terms at Palomar) you will lose your\u00a0CCPG fee waiver eligibility.<\/dd>\n
Combination of Academic and Progress Standards<\/strong><\/dt>\n
Any combination of two consecutive terms of cumulative GPA below 2.0 and\/or cumulative course completion is not more than\u00a050% may result in loss of\u00a0CCPG fee waiver eligibility.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

You will be notified within 30 days of the end of each term if you are being placed on either Academic (GPA) and\/or Progress (Course Completion) probation.\u00a0 Your notification will include the information that a second term of probation will result in loss of\u00a0CCPG fee waiver eligibility.\u00a0 After the second consecutive term of probation, you may lose eligibility for the\u00a0CCPG fee waiver at your next registration opportunity.<\/p>\n

Students who have lost their eligibility for the\u00a0CCPG Fee Waiver may submit a petition<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to have it reinstated.<\/p>\n
