Are you a high school student looking to fast-track your journey to the legal world? Palomar College\u2019s Pathway to Law program also includes CCAP high school students who take law-related courses through dual enrollment. Learn more about participating in the Pathway to Law program as a high school student: here<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To gain a head start on your legal education and set yourself apart for success, there are a few extra steps you must take as a high school student. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Apply to Palomar College application before you can register for classes: here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Submit a K12 Special Admissions Approval form<\/a> to Palomar College\u2019s Office of Dual Enrollment<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, the Office of Dual Enrollment will register you in LS 145 for Spring 2024 (spots are limited!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Spaces have been reserved for Pathway to Law high school students in Introduction to Law (LS 121)<\/a> and Legal Ethics (LS 145)<\/a>. Course is FREE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Finally, complete the Pathway to Law School Application<\/a> to gain all the benefits of program participation including FREE textbooks for required legal studies courses, personalized counseling, and student-focused programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
