Casa Cornelia provides legal services to asylum seekers, children, those who have been victims of a crime (VAWA, U Visa, and T Visa). Legal Aid Society of San Diego<\/a>– The Legal Aid Society of San Diego (LASSD) is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to lower income San Diego residents. LASSD provides legal services to educate the public on immigration law and assist low-income immigrants to obtain lawful status, apply for citizenship, and defend against deportation. Some of their services include immigration court representation, family-based petitions, asylum and refugee seekers, those who have been victims of a crime, and more. Their areas of legal assistance include Adjustment of Status, Asylum applications, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Family-based petitions, Naturalization\/Citizenship, Removal hearings, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and more. Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego<\/a>– is a nonprofit that provides shelter, food and immigration services. National Immigration Legal Services Directory – Immigration Advocates Network<\/a>– provides a national search tool to identify immigration legal services providers by state, county, or detention facility.
