It promotes awareness and accessibility\u2014in both the classroom and the workplace\u2014to maximize the potential of individuals with disabilities and make our communities more vibrant, diverse, and inclusive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The DO-IT Center <\/strong>provides resources for students with disabilities, K-12 educators, postsecondary faculty and administrators, librarians, employers, parents, and mentors.<\/p>\n<p>Visit DO-IT\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/doit\/programs\/accesscollege\/faculty-room\/overview\">The Faculty Room<\/a>, a space for faculty and administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn about how to create on-site and online courses that maximize the learning of all students, including those with disabilities.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/doit\/\">http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/doit\/<br \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/doit\/programs\/accesscollege\">http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/doit\/programs\/accesscollege<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>The Student with Disability Experience<\/h3>\n<p>To gain a deeper understanding of the varied experiences and perspectives of students with disabilities, consider watching these brief informative videos told from the perspective of college students with a range of different disabilities. These videos and the stories will better acquaint faculty with students\u2019 challenges, experiences, and instructional supports that are effective in promoting greater access and success.<\/p>\n<p><em>From Where I Sit<\/em> is a powerful video series featuring eight CSU students with disabilities who share their experiences in the college classroom.
