{"id":2385,"date":"2016-02-01T12:25:44","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T20:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/diesel\/?page_id=2385"},"modified":"2017-01-03T15:17:07","modified_gmt":"2017-01-03T23:17:07","slug":"dmt-135-basic-hydraulics","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/diesel\/the-program\/courses\/dmt-135-basic-hydraulics\/","title":{"rendered":"DMT-135 Basic Hydraulics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this class you will have the opportunity to learn basic hydraulic system principles and service.<\/p>\n<p>Topics of study include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hydraulic theory<\/li>\n<li>safety requirements<\/li>\n<li>hydraulic diagrams and ISO symbols<\/li>\n<li>component operation<\/li>\n<li>service \/ repair and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>test equipment usage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Palomar college will use the <a href=\"http:\/\/fluidpowertrainingsystems.com\/simulators_hydraulic_MF102-H-TSE.php\">MF102D-H-TSE<\/a> to teach students: hydraulic safety; basic hydraulics; and, advanced troubleshooting. Palomar College is also a certified Bobcat Training Center. Palomar College invests in the most advanced hydrostatic transmission training system on the planet &#8211; the brilliant MF500 Palomar College has a partnership with Bobcat to train technicians. This is the second Bobcat training partner that has invested in the MF500. There is no doubt there is a critical shortage of technicians that are competent to service, repair, adjust, and troubleshoot hydrostatic transmissions. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong><em><u>Palomar College and Bobcat are determined to solve the problem!<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Rory S.
