We take responsibility for challenging racial inequity and implementing positive change in the\u00a0Library. As part of our commitment to accountability, we apply an\u00a0antiracist analysis, informed by the National Museum of African American History and Culture,\u00a0as we evaluate the services, policies, spaces, and collections that we offer to students, faculty, staff, administrators and to the wider community.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Library\u00a0partners with Palomar colleagues, students, and the community to create unique displays and programs that confront racially oppressive systems and attitudes. This is part of our work to make the\u00a0Library\u00a0welcoming to all learners.<\/p>\n
We invite you to join our efforts for antiracist reform by making suggestions for resources, services, and programs.\u00a0 Our collaborative efforts will ensure that the\u00a0library\u00a0is responsive and proactive.<\/p>\n
