The Behavior Technician works one-on-one with children<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>with Autistic Disorder (AD), Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS), Asperger\u2019s<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Disorder (AS) and Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD). Implement the Behavior Plan (BP) designed and<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>maintained by a Program Supervisor and gather quantifiable data necessary for the Program Supervisor to evaluate<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>the effectiveness of the BP in achieving identified goals and objectives.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Responsibilities:<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Follows the instructions of the BCBA\/program supervisor<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Provides behavior assistance\/interventions to assigned clients<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Provides behavior support services<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Provides crisis intervention<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Implements behavior plans<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Documents session per policies and procedures<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Performs other duties as assigned\/necessary<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>Qualifications:<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 High School diploma or equivalent required<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Completed a minimum of 12 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework and currently be enrolled<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>in course of study leading to an associate&#8217;s or bachelor&#8217;s degree (psychology, education, social work,<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>behavioral sciences, human development or related fields); or have completed a minimum of 48 semester<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>hours (or equivalent) of college coursework.<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and\/or client requirement<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Ability to effectively elicit\/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>be required<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Computer proficiency required<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\uf0b7 Must be at least 18 years of age<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Behavior Technician, Job Aide:Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavior Technician.
