Please review the information below before selecting your appointment type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d58dbb2b9c0d6949c3523036d2194864\"><strong>For virtual appointments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Laptop or Computer is preferred, as mobile device may not have full capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a time when you can be fully present and are not balancing another commitment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Join from a safe and relatively quiet location whenever possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not join your virtual appointment while driving. Driving is not allowed during a virtual counseling appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A camera is not required for Zoom appointments, but preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For in-person appointments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Available at Escondido, Fallbrook, Rancho Bernardo, or San Marcos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For students who are not comfortable using a computer or Zoom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For students with limited access to a reliable computer or internet connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For students who prefer reviewing documents with a counselor in person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We highly recommend reviewing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/counseling\/onlinecounseling\/\"><strong>How to Prepare for Your Counseling Appointment<\/strong><\/a> before your counseling appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Information Before Scheduling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will receive an appointment confirmation and reminder by email and text message.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Zoom appointments, your Zoom link will be sent to your Palomar email from <a href=\"mailto:noreply@palomar.edu\">noreply@palomar.edu<\/a> within one hour of scheduling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have transcripts from another college, please make sure they are on file before your appointment. You may contact the Records\/Transcript Office at 760-744-1150 ext. 2169 or provide unofficial transcripts to your counselor at least two days before your appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who need accommodations are encouraged to contact the Counseling front desk to make arrangements with the Disability Resource Center (DRC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
