DESCRIPTION:ChildCare Careers is now hiring Teacher’s Aides\, Assistant Teachers\, and Experienced Teachers to work in our partnered schools throughout San Diego. You pick your hours of availability and preferred travel areas\, then we match you to our partnered locations! This position gives you the opportunity to go on job assignments as a substitute teacher or assistant in a childcare facility\, after school program\, preschool\, and/or infant care center. You will assist in day-to-day routine activities\, interact with children\, and help schools maintain their educational level of excellence.Pay starts at $16.50/hour and increases based on qualifications and experience.General Qualifications: \n\nExperience (paid or volunteer) in a child care setting\nCPR/First Aid a plus\, but not required\nBilingual a plus\, but not required\nMust undergo background check\, fingerprinting\, and health screening prior to start date.\n\nSpecific Position Qualifications: \n\nAide: 0-5 Child Development units and/or experience in a child care setting\nAssistant Teacher: 6-11 Child Development units completed\nTeacher: 12+ Child Development units (core courses) completed AND 150 hours of experience OR Associate Teacher Permit\nTeacher with Degree: AA/AS or BA/BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development\n\nChildCare Careers is the largest employment agency dedicated to the early childhood education field.
