The aim of this event is to promote academic and career pathways among elementary youth and their families. The pathways we will explore this year are music, optometry, and library services. This virtual event takes place during President’s Week. The website content is pre-recorded and accessible to the public for free. There will be literacy giveaways, read-aloud video presentations from service learning students, and mini-bio presentations from community leaders in the three career fields. The theme for this event is Fundi, which is a Swahili word that refers to a person who teaches a craft to the next generation.
