For exams dates and to schedule an appointment, please email Lourdes Runk at <a href=\"mailto:lrunk@palomar.edu\">lrunk@palomar.edu \u00a0<\/a>Tests are administered by appointment only.<\/p>\n<p>The following certifications are offered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=664&amp;roleid=101\">Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=668&amp;roleid=101\">QuickBooks Certified User\u00a0(QBCU)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=665&amp;roleid=101\">Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=669&amp;roleid=101\">Digital Literacy Certification (IC3)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/certiport.pearsonvue.com\/Certifications\/ESB\/Certification\/Overview\">Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/certiport.pearsonvue.com\/Certifications\/pmi\/Certifications\/Overview\">PMI Project Management Ready\u2122 Certification<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">There is a $15 proctoring fee payable on this <a href=\"https:\/\/payit.nelnet.net\/form\/fIAsQUy8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>. This fee is in addition to the voucher purchased from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?TZ=-7\">Certiport<\/a>. A picture I.D. is required at the time of testing. The proctoring fees are waived for Palomar College students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>All test candidates need to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the main Certiport website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\">certiport.com<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Under the tab <em>Test Candidates <\/em>click <strong>start here<\/strong> to register. Note that the same username and password you create at this site, will also be used in the MD-335 test computer.<\/li>\n<li>After registering in Certiport, contact Lourdes Runk to schedule an appointment for the test in MD-335 or online.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Certification via Certiport<\/h3>\n<p>Once the test candidate is ready, I would recommend you to go through the study guides and\/or exam objectives (see links below) posted in Certiport, these are industry certifications and would meet Certiport standards and policies, see following link <a href=\"http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal\/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=688&amp;roleid=101\">http:\/\/www.certiport.com\/Portal<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Professional Development.<\/h3>\n<p>To earn Professional Development hours for the Industry Software Certification please use the <strong>PD self-designed code #113<\/strong>\u00a0\u201c<strong>Improve or\u00a0Learn How to Use\u00a0Computers and Technology in Instruction\u201d<\/strong>. \u00a0On your PD contract you must provide the following information: \u00a01.) Describe the Certiport test you took. \u00a02.)
