{"id":12854,"date":"2025-01-28T12:20:08","date_gmt":"2025-01-28T20:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/atrc\/?page_id=12854"},"modified":"2026-03-05T14:48:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T22:48:30","slug":"study-room-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/atrc\/computer-labs\/study-room-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Study Room Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Self-Registration<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students can self-register for study rooms using <a href=\"https:\/\/palomar.libcal.com\/reserve\/ATRC\">the Study Room reservation page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Study rooms are exclusively available to currently enrolled Palomar College students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time Limit<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rooms can be reserved for up to 3 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No-Show &amp; Late Arrival<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If no one arrives within 15 minutes, the reservation will be cancelled and the room will be made available to other students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Personal Belongings<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not leave personal items unattended in study rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leaving belongings in a room does not reserve it for future use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ATRC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Room Access<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ATRC staff may enter study rooms at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Furniture and Equipment<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Furniture must remain inside the study rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not move or disconnect any equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Permitted<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food and beverages allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prohibited Activities<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Staff may ask users to leave for:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excessive noise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vaping or smoking inside the study room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the space for personal entertainment (e.g., video games)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damaging or misusing furniture or equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consequences of Misuse<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individuals who abuse the facilities may lose access privileges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They may also face academic sanctions and\/or criminal prosecution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":6384,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-12854","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
