Now, website users have unrestricted access to over 44,000 images\u00a0 under the <a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/publicdomain\/zero\/1.0\/\">Creative Commons Zero (CC0)<\/a> license.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artic.edu\/collection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">View the collection here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>What this means, according\u00a0to the Art Institute, is that these images can be downloaded for free on the artwork\u2019s pages. In addition, the Institute has also enhanced image viewing capabilities on object pages, allowing viewers to see the works in greater detail.<\/p>\n<p>You can explore the cryerson and Burnham Archives, search by architect or artist, or by city.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a Visual Artist Oral History Archive under development.
