Often using found relics combined with objects made from everyday materials, Algarme creates artworks that explore the intersection of where the known meets the unknown.<\/p>\n<p>You can view her show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hapticheart.com\/after-the-flood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online <\/a><br \/>\nor in person at the gallery 4184 Adams Ave, SD 92116. The artist recommends viewing the work after dark when there is less glare in the windows.<\/p>\n<p>Charity said this about her time at Palomar &#8220;Palomar many years ago, where I did my general studies, and then took a long break in between to raise my daughter as a single parent, before continuing on full time at UCSD to major in studio art and minor in art history. I&#8217;ve always been proud of my roots at Palomar, where I was fortunate to encounter some very exceptional instructors. I don&#8217;t know if you are familiar with Roy Rogers, but he had a pretty big impact on me back in the day.
