WorldImages is accessible anywhere and its images may be freely used for non-profit educational purposes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Digital Imaging Project \u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bluffton.edu\/~sullivanm\/index\/\">http:\/\/www.bluffton.edu\/~sullivanm\/index\/<\/a><br \/>\nImages of sculpture and architecture from prehistoric to modern times<\/p>\n<p><strong>History of Medicine<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/hmd\/ihm\/\">http:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/hmd\/ihm\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Images from the History of Medicine (IHM) provides access to nearly 70,000 images in the collections of the History of Medicine Division (HMD) of the U.S National Library of Medicine (NLM)<\/p>\n<p>The collection includes portraits, photographs, caricatures, genre scenes, posters, and graphic art illustrating the social and historical aspects of medicine dated from the 15th to 21st century.\u00a0 The purpose of the IHM database is to assist users in finding and viewing visual material for private study, scholarship, and research. This site contains some materials that may be protected by United States or foreign copyright laws. It is the users&#8217; responsibility to determine compliance with the law when reproducing, transmitting, or distributing images found in IHM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Web Gallery of Art <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wga.hu\/\">http:\/\/www.wga.hu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Web Gallery of Art is a virtual museum and searchable database of European painting and sculpture of the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassicism, Romanticism periods (1000-1850), currently containing over 23.200 reproductions. Picture commentaries, artist biographies are available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artcyclopedia<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artcyclopedia.com\/\">http:\/\/www.artcyclopedia.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Search by name, medium, subject, nationality,\u00a0 museum<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flickr Commons<\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/commons\">http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/commons<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The key goals of The Commons on Flickr are to firstly show you hidden treasures in the world&#8217;s public photography archives, and secondly to show how your input and knowledge can help make these collections even richer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visual Arts Data Service<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vads.ac.uk\/\">http:\/\/www.vads.ac.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>VADS is the online resource for visual arts.
