- Twenty-nine published articles and monographs on archaeology, biological anthropology, and/or computer related topics
- Creation of computer based tutorial programs on various anthropology topics. Thirty are currently on the Internet for anyone to use (click here to see them).
Current Professional Interests
- Teaching (I have taught at Palomar College since 1975. Prior to that, I taught at Cal. Poly Pomona, Cal. State Los Angeles, and Cal. State San Bernardino)
- Creating Internet based anthropology instructional material
In my vegetable garden
- Bicycling and taking long walks
- Vegetable gardening
- Cooking (usually ethnic foods from around the world)
- Keeping up with the latest developments in the sciences (especially the biological and behavioral sciences)
- Reading history, science, and other non-fiction as well as detective stories
- Collecting British Empire postage stamps
- Listening to music (especially 18th and early 19th century European opera)
- Travel with my wife (my kids are grown and on their own)
- Enjoying sunsets from my home in Cardiff by the Sea
