American Indian Biographies<\/a> is a sub-set of Biographies hosted by Infoplease.com.\u00a0 A good general resource designed to help basic research on notable Native Americans.<\/p>\n

Native Studies – California State University San Marcos<\/a>\u00a0 is a website for the Native American Studies Program at CSU San Marcos.<\/p>\n

The British Library<\/a> contains many search engine possibilities for detailed research globally and outside of the U.S.<\/p>\n

Index of Native American Bibliography Resources on the Internet<\/a> is a very good and easy-to-use search engine for topics related to Native American Studies.<\/p>\n

Index of Native American Resources on the Internet<\/a> is an incredible search engine designed to offer portals to\/through different resources on any subject related to Native American research.<\/p>\n

Library of Congress<\/a> contains a number of research items for any discipline.<\/p>\n

National Geographic Maps<\/a> allows researchers to view detailed maps and information about a specific region locally and globally.\u00a0 An excellent source for those seeking to expand their individual research.<\/p>\n

Native Tribes of the United States and Canada<\/a> is a general website that offers information about the various tribes throughout North America.\u00a0 Supporting information can be found within this website.<\/p>\n

Native Web<\/a> has many resources for those interested in American Indian Studies.<\/p>\n

Public Broadcasting System<\/a> (PBS) contains general information globally that is updated in real-time.\u00a0 Information can be tailored to focus on a specific region\/location locally and\/or globally.<\/p>\n

San Diego State University American Indian Studies Department<\/a> is a valuable resource with information and links relating to a variety of Native American issues.<\/p>\n
