Ute has more than 20 years of experience in post-secondary education and nonprofit program management. Before joining Palomar College she served as the manager for East Region Adult Education, a consortium that unites adult and continuing education programs and institutions across San Diego\u2019s East counties.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ute\u2019s work is focused on transforming services and instruction to adult learners by strengthening accountability and the use of data for program improvement and promoting innovative models and research-based best practices. He also earned a BA from Cal State San Marcos in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. He has worked at Palomar College since summer 2006 as an adjunct counselor for multiple departments including E.O.P.S, Veterans, TLC, STEM Academy and general counseling. In addition, he worked from 2003-2016 for Wahupa Educational Services as an E.O.C. counselor. His academic journey began at Norco College, where he earned an A.A. in Social and Behavioral Studies, Tony transferred to California State University, Long Beach and completed a BA in Human Development. He is currently pursuing a MS in Higher Education Administration at National University.
