RECEIVING CREDIT:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pass Both Semesters:<\/strong> Achieve a grade of B or higher in both semesters of the high school course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pass Final Exam\/Project:<\/strong> Obtain a grade of B or higher on the final exam\/project. This grade will be posted on the official transcript.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transcript Notation:<\/strong> The final exam grade will be displayed on the college transcript with a notation indicating Credit by Exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grades Below B:<\/strong> Students who receive a C or lower will not have anything posted on their transcript.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After Completion of the Course:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Post Grades on CATEMA:<\/strong> Teachers will post final course and exam grades on CATEMA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enrollment and Transcripts:<\/strong> Palomar College will enroll students and post official grades on transcripts. Credit is transcribed over the fall semester following course completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accessing Palomar College Transcripts:<\/strong> Log into MyPalomar with your Palomar ID and password <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.palomar.edu\/psp\/palc9prd\/?cmd=login\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/my.palomar.edu\/psp\/palc9prd\/?cmd=login\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>. On the left panel under &#8220;Academics&#8221; select &#8220;View Unoffical Transcripts&#8221; check to see if your grade as been posted. Remember that credit is transcribed over the fall semester following course completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Requesting Transcripts:<\/strong> On the left panel under &#8220;Academics&#8221; select &#8220;Request Offical Transcripts&#8221; where you will be taken to the Parchment website and students can request transcripts to be sent to another institution. The first two transcript requests are free!\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No Need for Palomar Students:<\/strong> If the student plans to attend Palomar College after graduation, there is no need to submit transcripts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Credit Transfer Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Depending on the course, credits may satisfy prerequisites or count toward certificates, Associate Degrees, and\/or transfer to a four-year institution. The application of transfer credit, including credit by exam, is determined by each individual college or university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most transferable articulated courses are recognized as lower-division elective credits.
